Something else to consider is the color and luster of the pearls in question. Each of these contributes to the cost factor when purchasing these types of earrings, no matter where you get them from or who you may get them from.

Bear in mind that some black pearl earrings can be made of natural pearls. However pearls can be dyed any color in the rainbow. Mostly though, these types of earrings are usually cultured pearls. Most of the black pearls that are found in earrings of this type are treated and are not naturally black. Only Tahitian pearls are naturally black.
